This is the first car ive driven that the second i get out of the car, i cannot wait until the next time i get to drive it.

yea, its a gas guzzler, and i wish the freakin gas prices would go down, but to be honest, its worth every penny.

Just wanted to say that, and i can only hope that all you other srt8 owners feel the same way.

(and no, i have no affiliation with jeep)

split2112,

I couldnt agree with you more. I've owned ALOT of fast vehicles, but I dont think any one of them has ever broughten me as much joy as this one. Its so much a "daily driver" with lots of power packed in, its amazing.... and add in the utility and its the best bang for the buck out there.

Hey ekool... time to change your avatar!! ;)
Nice to hear happy owner stories. In a day and age when so many of us have to spend so much time in our vehicles, it sure does help to absolutley love what ya drive!
Enjoy...

My black is due in anytime between aug and oct., and since the test drive I've been dying to get back into that seat!
It's nice that I've found a community of people who are as nutty about their cars as I am, I look forward to lots of great info from this site, keep it up guys!

As for the fuel economy has anyone heard of that reformulator called "Ethos"?Snake Oil IMO. Very doubtful it will accomplish 10% of what is claimed. The SRT 6.1 Hemi is a high performance engine requiring high octane fuel w/out goofy additives. It will never be an economy engine, buy a GC with the 4.7 for decent fuel mileage. If fuel economy is more than a minor concern don't get anything with the 6.1 in it.
