: A few pictures after picking up my truck
ttyndall 03-07-2009, 12:58 PM Well, I picked up my truck yesterday afternoon after a couple weeks in the shop.
The first pictures will show the stance with the new BWoody springs. The sunlight did not cooperate and show the new R1 Rotors and of course the BWoody End Links. It really helped level the stance.
It handles totally different.
An angle shot.

A front shot showing how low it sits.

A shot of the left side.

Right side.

A shot of the magnaflow tips. They installed a set of
American Headers with Magnaflows.

The next pictures are of the engine bay with the new
FRI 426 Stroker with coated internals, stage 2 heads,
90mm TB, 52lb injectors, BWoody 4" CAI, and 2800
Torque Converter.
Also some paint work.

It has a basic tune. Will not dyno until we put a few miles on it and change out the break in oil.
One thing that is hard to tell from my pictures is the Valve Covers.
We found a set of metal covers and had them Polydyned a sort of
chrome look. Then we left off the plastic covers. It looks good in person.
WBSRT 03-07-2009, 01:04 PM Amazing, You got yourself a real Monster there, How does she sound ? how does She pull? After you break it in, post a video.
ttyndall 03-07-2009, 01:14 PM WBSRT, It idles with a small lope to it. I sell Real Estate so I was worried about taking customers in it. To the average person they would think I needed to have it tuned. The sound is not bad if you keep your foot out of it. Very liveable.
My problem is getting used to the accelerator. If I ease on it I am ok. If if touch it a hair too strong it jumps. I have to re-learn to drive it all over again.
aplatero1984 03-07-2009, 01:43 PM Ted, your truck is amazing!!!! that Red!!! something about that red makes it soooo much more awesome!!!! I like the engine theme also!:D
ttyndall 03-07-2009, 01:46 PM Ace, thanks for the compliment.
How about telling Harrison how much better mine looks than his.

hahahahahahahah!:D
HOJeepster 03-07-2009, 01:50 PM That's a really nice looking truck, that Red just pops! The engine bay looks sweet.
I think a set of black rims would set that off like no other.
Great truck!
ttyndall 03-07-2009, 02:08 PM HOJeeptster,Thanks.
Ace, could you ask Harrison if he would loan me the money to have my rims Powder Coated.
Also, tell him that Chris (Blown-WJ) says he is tired of being embarrased parking next to him at Hooters. That black bomb of his is always dirty and has spots on it. You would think he could find a good detail expert.
Vinnysrt8 03-07-2009, 02:28 PM Looks good.,
robpp 03-07-2009, 02:31 PM What a great looking SRT8. I like under the hood.
What was done to the fan shroud?
Looks like chrome.
ttyndall 03-07-2009, 02:39 PM Rob
I had the Strut Bar and the fan shroud done in a very high gloss black.
The guy did such a good job it looks like glass in the picture.
The metal valve covers we found were done in a chrome type finish.
In different light I'll try to get pictures of them. They are sort of a chrome look with the black coil packs on top setting them off.
ATIF2 03-07-2009, 02:45 PM Man that is sweet. Good job dude
Get$$$Man 03-07-2009, 03:09 PM Looks awesome!
BOYCHIKS 03-07-2009, 03:24 PM Your truck looks awesome!! Are we getting videos after break in? :)

Grip Grip 03-07-2009, 05:36 PM Cams rock, especially when they're inside a 426 Hemi living in an SRT8 Jeep! :D
Harrison@Stage6 03-07-2009, 06:25 PM Oh Teddy Teddy Teddy.... don't piss me off now. I'll go see Dwight and have him throw on a 150 shot just so I can get video footage of me spanking your ass. You still have to deal with one more Jacksonville boy with a Black Jeep.........
That's Winston. Good luck with THAT one! Seriously though...... it looks great. It's about time though dammit. It's only been what, 5 MONTHS NOW?!?!? Congrats.
ttyndall 03-07-2009, 07:53 PM Harrison, I was wondering when you would show up.
We will have to get Chris and meet and let ya'll see it in person.
Or just meet me at Publix tomorrow.

This is a little better picture showing the new metal valve covers. They were Polydyned in sort of a chrome. Then we left off the plastic covers. Just got it back so I haven't played with the wiring yet to dress anything up.
