Just read this at allpar.com. Anyone heard anything else about this?
"A 6.4 liter Hemi was shown at SEMA, matching the historic 392 cid; expect a production version! You can buy a crate version for racing, with over 500 horsepower. The production version’s horsepower rating is expected to be no more than 500 hp - 470 is what we expect. This would most likely replace the 6.1 Hemi, and would be used only in SRT models."
The 2006 model is rumored to contain a 6.4 500hp engine. And that rumor has come from about the most reliable source Jeep owners have.

I think Ge2 means the 2009 model.
Yes... sorry :) I did mean the 2009 model. I shouldn't be allowed to post prior to 6 AM :)

Hmmmm... seems like that rating is falling. I heard it would be "well over 500"
Only numbers I have seen at all was 470 was the 'assumption' then they said they surpassed it and were able to get 500.

LOL! Actually, that's takes some of the pressure off to upgrade to the 6.4!!!!! Thanks! I should be ok for a while with the 6.1 with a H/C package:cool:
