I bet that your average mileage is a little better than that. Here's a test that you can do on the highway. Find a level stretch of interstate; set the cruise at 75; adjust the display for the trip computer(EVIC) to read average mpg; and then hit the reset button. I bet that you will see somewhere between 15 & 17 displayed on the screen. If you drive a few miles that way, and can resist the urge to hammer it, you'll probably level out at about 15.5 mpg.

My average is 15.3, a lot of highway pounding and includes 8 blasts at the dragstrip.
The fuel economy is better than some vehicles we have all owned!
