Ok guys I've been restudying the Valve Body.
Those Fluid dynamics courses finally paid off after all these years.
My Goals:
*Bring in a "full race" modified valve body for an optional $400.
*Incorporate that same new technology in my basic High Torque capacity NAG1. In my non-full race NAG1 I do NOT want the extra firm downshifts that are are inherent with the current valve body mods.
*Yes, I want the best of all worlds for my customers...an even firmer shift at WOT as standard and a NO cost increase. The balls out version of the High Torque capacity NAG1 to shift even harder....woohaa.
*Still be able to warrant the NAG1 for 1 year under any conditions (except converter failure).
*Has to "play nice" with my reprogrammed TCM. Like it or not, we are forced into the reprogrammed TCM. It does too many tasks that are of the utmost importance.
*Completed by my race March 14th in Charlotte.
*Backwards compatible with all the NAG1's I have sold to date at NO cost to my loyal customers.
Well today I installed my latest modified valve body.:)
Ya know, I'm pretty Damn pleased.
Just got in from beating on my 426 and the shifting is nice, the higher the rpm of the shift, the more firm the shift. Feels pretty good.
The harder you push it the more aggressive it shifts.
I will tweak it a little further....baby steps as I have cracked a slider valve by being TOO aggressive....ouch.
A little further testing and refining and those who come to Charlotte March 14th can drive my rig and see for themselves.
