I just picked up mine last night and on the expressway it felt like I had to constantly move the steering wheel to keep it straight. It felt like a car that needed an alignment or had one tire that was low. Anyone else experience this so I will know that it is a normal characteristic?

You can check each tires pressure with the EVC. They will be displayed in the lower center of the instrument panel, as well as a warning if one is low. It sounds like the alignment may have been "tweaked" in shipment.

Mine tends to wander if the section of road has grooves from heavy tractor trailers . Like the inside of the tire will catch the edge of the groove and pull to one side or the next. You may or may not have a problem, but be sure the road seurface is good and level to see the real issue.

These big tires tend to follow the grooves especially on concrete highways. Probably not your Jeep but the road surface you were on.

See the thread titled "Unusual Tire Wear". My GC had the same handling twitchy-ness. I had 4k miles on it when I realized that both front tires were worn bald on the inside 3 inches of the tread area. The dealer checked the alignment and decided the toe was set wrong from the factory. The dealer fixed the alignment and replaced the tires under warranty.
In the process of doing the warranty fix however they also scuffed on of the wheels. Unfortunately I did not catch the damage until I got home. As a result the dealer was not willing to take responsibility for the wheel damage - it cost me $1,200 to replace the wheel. An expensive lesson on walking around the vehicle with the service manager & a digital camera on future visits to a dealership.

There is equipment that can fix curb rash & scuffed wheels. My left front wheel had curb rash and a local wheel shop fixed it good as new for $80. They even re-clear coated the wheel. If I didn't know where the spot was in relationship to the valve stem I doubt that I could find it again.

Definitely take it and get it checked out.
The rubber is way too expensive to allow a bad alignment to burn it off...
