I have an '09 with factory HID adaptive lighting...Do I have to pull the entire headlight unit out in order to change the bulbs? I want to get sylvania silver bulbs for the front blinkers..... I hate that orange sh*t... I also want to change my HID bulbs to 8000k.... thanks

pull the rubber cover off, unclip the bulb(held in with tension clips) and pull it out.
the turn bulbs just twist out---

cool... when I had my '08 escalade I actually had to have my body guy pull the bumper off in order to pull the headlight unit out to replace bulbs... pain in the a$$

the battery side is kinda tricky thu, you might have to move the battery a little to fit your hand in
good luck :)

It is really a 4 min per bulb..the turns just pull out,not twist....try not to touch the bulb,or wipe it clean..your fingers have oil on them...

you guys must have small hands... I could barely change the bottom blinkers nevermind removing the rubber cap and pulling out the xenon bulb... no room at all... They must be pulled out atleast a few inches.
