and attached is a picture of the cover. I had to have my dealer send me the correct one also.

I have 3 SRT8 Owners Manuals and 1 SRT8 Maintenance Interval Manual now (big mix-up w/ dealer). When I received my SRT8 it did not have the vehicle specific manuals, just the standard Grand Cherokee manuals.

For those of you who didn't get an SRT manual and want to avoid the hassle of getting the dealership to get one for you, go to www.techauthority.daimlerchrysler.com. You can order one there for $20, money well spent IMO. :)

Is there an SRT-8 specific manual I should have gotten with the regular jeep manual? There was an additional manual with my SRT-10.

mine came with the regular cherokee manual i told my salesmen right away when i picked the truck up and i have yet to hear from him but i actually called CHRYSLER customer service and complained after sending me another copy of the reg gc i called again and they sent me the srt8 manual

It is amazing that not only the dealerships don't know of these manuals but Chrysler has no idea either. It seems the only people at the dealerships that know of the srt8 specific owners manual are probably the ones taking it out of your truck during prepping.
I too had to pull teeth to get mine, along with everything else they stole from me before delivery, the nav cd, the rear headsets. Oh yeah, and I had to repaint my driver door too, gouged right down to the bare metal. I'll refrain from naming the dealership as they know who they are if they monitor this forum.
It would be a nice change of pace if car dealerships actually ran an honest business. Ok I am done griping now. But it was all worth it, cause this is one bad SUV!!!!

dealer ordered mine, paid for it and I had it in just a couple of days....

All SRT's have there own owners manual and mainteance book. I have an extra maintenace book since DCX sends us both Canadian and US books. If someone needs one in MI and wants to drive a few minutes to come get it you are more then welcome.

Might be a hassle for someone, but if anyone could post a picture of the SRT maintenance manual, I would greatly appreciate it. Did finally get the correct owners manual after delivery, but my dealer says there is no SRT8 specific maintanence manual.

I am hoping that the cover is unique, as is the one on SRT8 owners manual.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I was at the SRT Track Experience at Watkins Glen this past week. I got your PM and sent you one back.

I did not get one when I took delivery, told the dealer a few weeks later. He ordered one, paid for it and I got it yesterday, about two weeks afte he ordered it.

Did your SRT-8 come with a special owners manual, or the standard Gr. Cherokee one that make absolutely no mention of the 6.1L engine in it? No mention of fluid capacities or recommendations.

An SRT8 owner's manual is included.

Still haven't got mine from the dealer. I will check again on Monday. There are
many posts on the manual not comming with the SRT8 jeep and you can buy
one for $20.00 plus shipping. Search in here for the info.
