So I found some Maf Cleaner in my garage and decided that I would try and clean off my maf (which I found out I don't have) I sprayed the sensor and then let it dry for 4 hours. I went to restart the car and forget I didn't plug the sensor back in. CEL went off. I turned off the car and plugged back in and car runs perfect, but the CEL is still on.
I unplugged the battery and It's sitting now.
Did I do any damage?
Can I get the CEL off??

After a few key cycles it will go off. No big deal. What sensor did you spray?

+3 you'll be fine. Just let it work off with a few WOT runs. :D
If you unplugged the IAT sensor from the intake tube, the CEL should be off after you reconnect the battery. As for the sensor itself, you should be fine. I know those sensors do not like sprays like WD40.

Clear the codes using an OBD reader.

Thanks guys, I sprayed the sensor in the intake tube with Maf cleaner, so I hope it's ok. Thanks for the quick responses, guys
