Can anyone answer this one....

I recycled the magazine and can't find my source. About a two weeks ago I was reading Car & Drive or something like that (I get alot of car magazines) and I read Chrysler is developing a new 6.2L Hemi. Did anyone recently read this? Is this a possible mistake in terms of what I read? It was towards the front of the magazine where they write small news/updates on what is happening within the industry. I can't imagine them doing this with the downturn in the economy, how well the 5.7, 6.1 and the 6.4 engines are performing, etc.

i dont think they are doing a 6.2 they proboly meant a 6.4

I have read on a forum that a 6.2L hemisphere is supercharged with 570 horses, there was also a YouTube video of a 300 6.2L. I could be wrong on it but I don't know why crystler would make a 6.2 hemisphere when they have the 5.7 6.1 and now the 6.4. But only time will tell.

That's true. The 6.2 is for the upcoming supercharged SRT's. I am not an expert on this, but I have read that the 6.4 has a higher compression that is not as compatible with FI.

Can't wait for the this engine to come out. 6.2L Supercharged Hemi V8 would be sick. I'm hoping for 575HP or more. And I hope they put it in a Challenger first or a base model Viper.
