sorry, the pinstriping isn't for me, I think it breaks up the lines of the body too much

I'm not trying to be rude, but what lines of the body is the stripe breaking up exactly? if anything I would say it follows them

i like pinstriping. in my opinion, your jeep doesn't need it. there is enough chrome with the door side moldings & the moldings at the base of the windows to warrant the pinstriping. looks a little to busy. if it didn't have the chrome moldings then the pinstriping would look good. but hey you know what they say about opinions, if you like it then it's all good.;)

One Question WHY!!! My Dads Buick had Pinstrips. But that was in 1970

i find it aesthetically pleasing for the silver/chrome to flow beyond the side mirror along the lines of the car instead of stopping so suddenly. it also makes the chrome underneath the windows look thicker, about the same size as the door trim.

i love uniqueness :D

JDR - no offense taken, I probably should have explained myself better, I agree with you that the striping follows the lines parallel to the ground well, and if you are in the camp of those who like extras on the truck, they're a nice touch. . . I favor more of a monochromatic look, and the pinstriping to me breaks up the overall black / stealth look of the truck, not so much the lines of the body! . . . but, as always, to each his own and everyone's got an opinion
