Heres a few pics of my motor stripped down during the install. Looks a little scary but it's in good hands.

You're having Orange County Choppers do the work? That's odd. Can you get me an autographed pic of Mikey?

J/k - I can't wait to hear the results once you're done.

Mark,
Looking good. Are you reusing the stock head gaskets? If not, what are you using?

Thanks

Thanks,
just a set of new factory gaskets. Matt got me a top end gasket set. They are really hard to find right now. There on back order.

Good info on the top end gasket set. Do you have a part number handy? How about bolts? What did you do there?

BTW how long are they estimating on the swap?

Thanks.

Did they need to replace the gasket under the orange top cover? Just want to have all the parts before we start.

I dont have the part #'s but I might be able to get them when I go to the shop..I'll check the boxes. You will need new head bolts. Swap time should be two days but my Jeep wasn't the only vehicle they were working on and I told them I didn't care how long it took.

Looks like you guys are having fun, bet your getting Excited.

The front end does not need to be removed like that for the install. Doing it your way though will be easier on you back, no bending over the front end. so it will save money on aspirin lol.

and looks like you removed your AC condenser and discharged the AC, that also did not need to be done, the AC condenser can be merely unbolted and pushed down out of the way lines still attached.
