Yeah, that's right. Lift Kits. Has anyone thought of raising the GC SRT8, even a little bit? With the suspension travel so small, a bit of extra travel would be helpful. It would also probably save a few front valence panels.

Just a thought. You comments would be appreciated!:)

My Number One preference is lowering. Has been since my first ride, a 1956 Ford F100 way back in 1975. I am also aware that many vehicles look good a variety of different ways. I say go for it.
I was actually thinking about going with an 1 1/2 inch OD taller tire. This would make the GC look lower by filling up the fender wells a little better. But it would actually raise the GC 3/4 of an inch. One of this forums members has done this already with Toyos. You have to make sure the OD is the same for the fronts and the rears to keep the drivetrain happy. This would also slightly change the gearing. Slightly less oomph off the line and a slightly lower cruising RPM for the same speed as with the smaller tires. The speedo would be off some also.
Let us know if you make a change and please post pictures. Most guys on this forum are of the performance only school of thought, which I respect also. They will point out the raising your GC will hurt your handling performance. I say if it makes you happy, is safe and does not compromise your performance too much go for it. Since you are using this Forum you obviously want to make informed decisions. Thats a great start to any alteration.
