If So how do you like it, Ive been using my gas powered leaf blower on occasion to dry off the Jeep.
Harrison@Stage6 02-13-2009, 11:07 AM Nope odn't have one of those..... I'm looking to getting one of these at the beginning of next month. I have a little air compressor I used for my RC cars to blow off the clay from the tracks that I use. My new Vac./Carpet Cleaner has a blow attachment. Can't wait.......
This is the one I WANT...... but probably not gonna happen....

You got a link to the one you're looking at by any chance? Might be nice to have one of those for cars that I don't need to steam clean.:D
CentralTexHemi 02-13-2009, 11:11 AM I wish I still had my grandmas Rainbow carpet cleaner that thing was the shiznit. You filled it with water in the base and could add smell goods to it and as you cleaned you could see how dirty the carpet was at the bottom of the tank where the water was held.
Blown-WK 02-13-2009, 11:13 AM I use this to dry mine off

Holy Fawk dude, $1395 plus $100 to ship= a crazy pricey unit. Read its features and it is absolutely the baddest interior cleaner ever. Think I'll spend the scratch on some longtubes first tho.
Harrison@Stage6 02-13-2009, 11:17 AM Well...... to dry mine off I use a MF drying towel. Then use the compressor to get the cracks and use one of those rubber chamois things for the door jams and rear hatch.

Well, I'll save the $100.00 by going down there and picking it up. They're only about 1.5 hours away.:D I think I'm going to get into the detailing aspect of things again. I had a detailing company when I was 18-20 working out of the back of a Auto Accessory store. I'm not new to it. Yeah it's expensive but, think of the money you can make with it after it pays for itself.:D Between one of my buddies with 5 cars and all the people I know and my parents friends...... I think I get get things going pretty quickly.
Jayincali 02-13-2009, 11:55 AM Hey guys, been lurking around this place for a month or so, but do not yet have my GCSRT8. Hoping in the next month or so. This place seems real cool with a lot of great info.
Sorry about the hijack, so back on topic. Yeah I actually have a blower very similar to the one posted. I did used to have my own detail biz on the side. The blower is awesome, I use it to blow out the inside after I vacuum as it seems to get the dust deep down in the carpet pile as well as in the small cracks and crevices. Works great in the engine bay to blow all the water out of the hard to reach places, and of course the exterior of the vehicle.

haha i though i was the only one that used the leaf blower
ChimRichalds 02-13-2009, 05:10 PM I started using a leaf blower about 5 years ago and would never go back. It gets SO much water out from the rear valence, the chrome lower door trim, under the mirrors, etc. It's a $75 2 cycle Poulan from Walmart.
I also use the California water blade - don't be afraid of this thing, with a clean finish it will not mar the paint.
Wash, water blade, leaf blower, microfiber towel.
Harrison@Stage6 02-13-2009, 06:14 PM I've got a Water Blade but it just scares me. I know it's medical rubber or whatever it's made out of but, it still scares me. I've been using the big giant MF Drying towels and those things will dry your Jeep incredibley fast.
Jayincali 02-13-2009, 07:49 PM I have the water blade to and saves a ton on drying time, but still scares me also. I make sure to dunk it into the water bucket and wash the blade just to make sure it's clean. Then follow up with a MF waffle towel.

Yes I always always wash the blade before use. Been using it on all my black cars for many years and have never induced more swirling.
Now the California Car Duster - THAT scares me. Trapping all that dirt into the brush then re-using it.
