I was actually thinking of doing the opposite. I was considering painting the wheels black and leaving the SRT in them silver.

Some have done this over at the SRT8 oc. It looks good, but I'm sure how it would look on a red vehicle(red SRT on red).

Not to boost your ego too much but by far the nicest mod to factory rims I have seen to date. I like mine the way they are, but this is very tasteful and subtle and its always nice to be different. Looks great with the black. For me, since there are so few of these in Canada, I am already unique. Even in Toronto.

Exactly like that except I was thinking of painting the entire wheel black besides the SRT logo.

I tried painting the SRT logo on the rim black and it was a pain in the azz.
It looks really good from far away but the details on the edges did not look good.
So I took it all off and re-sprayed the logo with clear.
I really liked how it looked but wasn't satisfied with the detail.
I might get it professionally done.

i bought the red rock color to paint the SRT on the rims to match the truck. havent done it yet though

How did you do it?

I had a custom shop do it for me and he also did the side moldings (see attached). I tried to do it myself but I could not do it. He charged me $70 for both the wheels and the side moldings.
