: Are 5.7 and 6.1 heads the same? Mike_Levy 02-09-2009, 10:24 PM Heads aren't the same, but that should work. Way too pricey though. I used an $8 jaw style compressor from AutoZone. Gauled the screw so its garbage now, but it did the set, so I couldn't ask for more........ especially when compared to the price of a specialized tool. kokanee13 02-09-2009, 10:28 PM What are you doing now Mike? Researching cam lobes, and what works best with what style of forced induction, what pressure valve springs, etc. Gonna need all that info when I decide whether I'm going Positive displacement S/C or twin turbo.
