His launch wouldn't of mattered. He still lagged behind. Didn't see the speedometer in his SUV but you definetely wooped his rear-end in the 1/4. Black_SRT8 01-27-2007, 09:16 AM The ML63 does not launch well, bottom line. A superlative transmission and gargantuan horsepower cannot make up for a poorly launching vehicle. I remember a few months ago how everyone was saying the ML63 would trounce the SRT8 GC. I let off the gas once he had passed me but when you see him catching up im have it floored. the ML is very fast up top where as the GC is faster down low. but the ML still didnt catch up til around 100 or 110 so i bet the 1/4 mile times will be similar.
