JUst picked up the car after a leaving her in strangers' hands for two weeks to have the front bumper painted and the flash done, as well as having the windows checked for going down and up on their own. the bumper looks great but the flash was supposedly done and it still doesnt shift into 2nd after redlining. and lo and behold in this 17 degree weather the window went down on its own again. isnt that great. time to go back to the dealer. Man, I didnt expect this game so soon.

Anyone have an idea as to why the flash didnt work? Have any of you had to get the tsb flashed more than once before it took. thanks for the help

My flash took the first time but I warned them when I arrived that we would take a ride together when it was finished to see if the upshift was happening per the flash. I believe the tech said he had to first upgrade their ScanStar before being able to properly perform our TCM flash. I read of a few others on the forum that had to go back for a 2nd round.

The flash is great and being able to downshift into curves and let the computer take over for upshifts is a ton of fun. The WOT hesitation is gone also. Good update.
