I just got off the phone with my guy at Vortech. The '08 complete blower kits are shipping March 14th, but they still need test vehicles for '07 models! The two 07s that were scheduled didn't make due to a DUI and a totaled truck. :eek:

I dont understand why they need every year SRT8? Any 06-07 would cover those two years and any 08-09 would cover the other two years. The only difference is the front end update which may or may not affect the installation of any vortech components. The same vortech tune could be put into any 06-09.

They need because they're thorough and take no chances with the reliability of their kits.

Just an FYI for anyone that is considering this, they want 100% stock SRT8's. I recieved a reply from Vortech that my Mopar Exhaust and CAI would have to be removed and put back to stock if I was selected.

Well I sent them an email so we will see what they say. I am a little north but it would be no problem getting down to them and spending a few days down there. Same goes with not having any mods. All are simple enough to remove. Maybe I'll be the lucky one.

They had mine 4 weeks I get it back probably next week.

Yah, they emailed me back today. They said 4-6 weeks which is fine. I'll just get a rental car and drive back home. They also said that they have gotten 8 emails since friday. LOL go figure since it was posted on a forum. Who knows, I'll let everyone know if I get chosen.
