I went to the dealer today and asked for him to do the reverse mirror tilt. I brought the directions I found on this website and he couldn't get it to work. He was extremely nice and patient and we tried going through all kinds of menus on the StarSCAN for about 45 minutes and couldn't find it. I have a 2007 GC SRT-8, maybe it can't be done with the 07's? Can someone help me? Thanks!

yes, not in the menu list for 2007's.

It was suggested for us to program your memory seat #2 button to all the same settings as your #1 except the mirrors down. Then you can have it when you want instead of everytime you reverse.

Please explain? So the 07s already have this feature?

Why would they do that? That's way messed up. Dumb ass product managers have no clue what they are doing at Jeep. I say fire the but head!

The directions I found on this and the blue site did not match either. I found it under MISC OPTIONS. I find it hard to believe the feature is left off the 07's. My bet is it's just hidden somewhere in the menu's. Does yours have the electric folding option?

Mine is the export model with memory seat and electric folding mirrors.. if you have those I'm sure you have the option.

I'd love to find out that it's buried in the 07 menus, but I'll have to wait until one of you discovers that.

In the meantime, I'm using memory 2. The hassle is that appears that your seatbelt has to be off, and the car in park, in order to activate a different memory setting....

So what are you doing Alex? Program and save memory 2 with the mirrors tilting downwards? That would be easy alternative, but would suck if someone is 6'1" and has a 5'2" wife. Obviously you would need both memory settings.

Yeah, I'm using memory 2 with my settings except mirrors tilted down. Anyone else who drives it (including my wife and boys, don't get their own memory setting.)
