What are the current options available for replacing all the chrome around the outside of the car (door moulding and under window frame)... I want to black everything out...

Replace door moldings with Laredo ones, and vinyl or paint the rest.

Are the door ones easy to replace? Or must be bodyshop....?

The door moldings are not hard to take off, but if you're having them professionally painted then it should not be a big deal for them to take them off.

the door molding your talking about is the the chrome piece that runs under all the windows right??

one each door there would be 2 pieces of chrome, the one at the bottom of the window, then another piece about the middle of the door.

The lowest piece, the door moldings, can be removed/replaced by someone wuith basic skills. to do it proper, the inner door panel should be lifted and push the clips out from the inside. 2 optionbs for theses. Have the chrome painted, or get Laredo set of black plastic and have it smoothed and painted body color.

The pieces under the windows, there are 3 windows, options for these:
-use trimbrite blackpout tape to cover all these. or you could replace these with Laredo. all except the rear miost side window, the chrome is part of the window itself. someone is actually selling these right now in For Sale. you need tgo replace the whole third window. no easy way.
