I have a problem... I am addicted to this thing and dont even have one..

I was addicted from the firsttime I saw one on the street. I remember the street, the color(silver) and I was amazed when I saw it. I immediately went home to look it up.

I started seeing this one around my house that was black....

Since then I have been addicted....

I will have one. I was layed off in Oct from a Big telecom company, and got a job a week later. I had to resign from that job last week because it was unsafe to work there. But even though I am sitting here unemployed, I can say that I will have one.

I already have all the equipment I need to make it more "ME".
I was Tboned in my Mercedes E320 in Dec. So I have no car. But I do have all the stereo equipment from the car. (Alpine Ivad310, Pxah700, Jl audio-2-13w7's, 2-8w6d2's for midbass, 2-300/2's, 2-1000/1's, boston acoustics- 1set of boston Z6's)

When I get my jeep you will all see the build as it goes. May take me a while but I will have a silve or black GC SRT-8.

Its the first vehicle that I feel I wouldnt change the appearance at all. I love the wheels and overall the entire vehicle.

I recently test drove a used one with 6000 miles. When the guy told me to stop completely, then to floor it, I could have poked my eye out(If you know what I mean).hint---WOOD----

I have been on this forum like every day since I found it. And when I get mine I will post every moment that I can and every pic I can...

Someone please sell me a used one for $35000!!!!

Welcome onboard! It's definetly addictive!!! Sounds like you'll have a kick-ass system in your ride*no pun intended*. Let us know the updates as they come.

You will indeed have one if thats your plan. Sorry about the T-Bone on the Benz...happened to me on my 4 day old Silver Jeep SRT. Recently got it back, and its beter than new...and getting faster every day. Good luck on your next position.

I wanted to get a bike but....not so much anymore...

I want to be the first to have a full custom install in a GC SRT.

I am sueing the woman that hit me in DEC.....Hopefully I will get enough from my back, neck and side injuries to cover the hefty downpayment on the jeep.

I already promised my wife that I would actually keep it till its paid off.

No More Toys.......well at least for a while....hehehe

I love the Wheels so No need to change them...well unless replica 22's come out......

Nah!! I would be more than satisfied with the 06 used model... Im pushing my luck and finances with this vehicle already, So I have to know when to be content....Besides the 06 is faster than half the cars out there anyway... I would rather buy a beater and save as many miles as I can on the GC....

But again gotta get it first.

As for a full custom setup, the same guy that did my last two vehicles works for a custom shop here in Seattle, and though I have not seen it, I know he either is still working on, or just finished a full custom setup for the Seattle Roadster Show, in a 07 GCSRT8. If I run into it, I'll take pics.

Dangit!!!! Oh well....Somebody always beats me to the punch....No problem...I dont do custom stuff for others to see. I do it for me to enjoy....I am a fan of the old school stealth installs. Well I am now. I was a victim of a stolen car a little more than a year ago. Because it was full custom. I had fiberglass and weld spatter coming out the Wazoo on the blazer extreme...

it had 4- jl 12w6v2's 2- sets of boston Z6's and MTX powering everything...
It was also fully fast bagged and belt driven(compressor that is)

I miss it but too late now...

My jeep will be everything that I want....Loud and fast.....I will still have space for my daughter and wife and still carry those military bags I need to carry....

I gotta have it... and might downgrade the system to make it happen faster....

Like I said....As soon as I am reemployed again and I find one for the right price, Im going for it. Even if it involves a roadtrip being the first time I drive it......I will have it....No doubt..Im also going to buy a very long extended warantee... I wanna keep it for ever...

Oh by the way...the fastest car I have ever owned is a ford probe Gt modified that I drove while I was in military techschool...back in 97....

Oh and my wifes nissan altima 3.5....So needless to say, I will be pretty darn happy with the ponies that come with the jeep.

I mean hell, it has more power than both my last 2 vehicles combined...and its AWD....

Here was the fiberglass work that the same installer did in my last expedition. I'd love to come up with something that doesn't take up cargo space in the Jeep too.

That is what Im talkin bout....almost every bit of cargo space is still usable....And the jeep has hiding spots. I want to try to hide things a bit though...But with 2-13w7's I think my only option is a couple layers of 5% tint.
