ok today i said i will try to install the 2nd flashed pcm i got from Dave and this is what i did:
Disconnect Batt
disconnect pcm cables
unscrew pcm bolts
replce old pcm with 2nd pcm
screw in pcm bolts
connect pcm cables
connect Batt

tried to turn the jeep on (fire up), but it keep dying

then i pluges the predator and it said i have to update the DCX
so i unnpluged the predator and went to my laptop to updade
now update is done, i went to the jeep and tried to pluge the predator
the predator now updated the Cal
**STILL DIDNT TRY TO TURN ON (fire up) THE JEEP AGAIN**
now i want to add a tune
so i choose 91oc with CAI
when tune is updated to the pcm
and after i read the messege "Turn Key Off/On"
then i turn key off and on
now the predator says i am done and go have fun with the tune (or something like that hehe)

now i try to turn the jeep on (fire up) and it doesnt turn on (fire up) at all
it only stays on the stage where all the Dash lights are on, it doesnt even try to turn on (fire up) at all

now did i miss anything?

why its not turning on anymore?

any idea?

So Dave sold you a Stage II flashed 2008 calibration PCM for the Jeep and when you installed in the Jeep won't start?

Now was the calibration for your Jeep the correct country code?

Every PCM calibration is set up for a different country code meaning that there is a US code, a Europe code, sometimes a Mexican code and a Japan code (calibration).

ok i know that '08 has this option:
Sentry Key® engine immobilizer theft deterrent system

so basicly this wont allow the jeep to fire up and if it did it will die in 2-3 sec
so i am guessing maybe everything with the predator and pcm is fine and i just need to focus on the key thing.
what do you guys think?

Could be, I'm not sure, but I don't think Dave flashes for that key function.

You need a Star Mobile to check.

thats just geat

the tune gets loaded fine but the engine wont start
its either:
1- country code
or
2- key security
or
3- invalid VIN#

what else does anyone think it could cause this problem

ok ask DAVE a bout the problem .....

ok i have been emailing DAVE and MIKE and he is trying to help also.

dave asked me to check the VIN# and if its correct

now i go and check and there was no VIN#
ONLY calid

2nd pic shows the trouble codes i got


is it possible the VIN# was going in the install process i did?
plz if anyone knows, can you check the 1st post again and take a look at the install process i did and if there a step where made the VIN# disappear plz let me know
