None at all, or not the ones with "SRT" on them? It should have the SRT sills, if not then the dealer or someone stole/exchanged them!

Not true. They are 100% not putting them on the newest built trucks (or they are picking and choosing - but lots of discussion on this). Mine didn't have them nor did any of the 5 other trucks that came to my dealer after I got mine. I ordered mine and it arrived Dec 20th.

However, See my signature and order them if you can get them. They are a must have. Also search post on "Door Entry Guards".

Mine has a 11/06 build date and has them. You'd think they'd have had a cut off date after which no vehicles have them.

My build date was 12-5-06 and had the sills. However after the accident, I do not have the driver door sill....but they are trying to secure me one. I now have a collector Jeep.....since it only has one on the passanger side.

my 07's build date is 12/06 & i have them. :confused:

My Red SRT-8 has a build date of 12-18-06 and it did NOT come with the "SRT" door sills. My Black SRT-8 has a build date of 11-27-06 and it DID come with them.

My dealer filled out a "We Owe" for the Door Sills and has not heard back from Chrysler regarding when I will recieve them.


****EDIT: Does anyone know a Part # for the SRT Door Sills? This would help speed things up for sure.

I just called my parts department at my dealership (AWESOME GUYS!) and they said in the DCX computer, there are 53 sets sitting in the warehouse in Michigan.

He said it's really random what they put on them from day to day.

My 06 came with a SRT8 door sill only on the passenger side. Had dealer order another one. They said they only came in a package of two. I said fine. Figured someone on the forum would want the other one. They showed up yesterday. I opened the box at the dealer to inspect my purchase. Two door sills with words "Grand Cherokee" on them. Groan. I determined there may be no takers for this item on this forum and declined to accept them. I had the dealer look up the right sills and after checking they said none were shipping and they would keep checking for me - I'm not holding my breath. I did get two roof rails though so I can put my bike racks on in the summer - hope they are not for Liberty .....

Thanks Kram, I just passed that link for the Sills over to the body shop as I need one for the Driver side that was ruined when I was hit. THey were having a problem locating it.

i too have an 07 without door sills....went back to my dealer a week ago for CAI installation and there sitting in the show room was a black 07....looked and it was manufactured 11/06 and it has dorr sills...mine was manufactured 12/06 and I did not have door sills. So waht did I do you ask......my salesman happened to be there and I mentioned to him the facts I just uncovered, needless to say i now have door sills free

Nice work - I on the other hand had to pay. I have yet to see someone with a post 12/06 build date that got them, so I can't prove if Chrysler really did cut them or just took some time off installing them.

When you bought yours doesn't matter all that much. It seems that the build date is what might have determined whether or not you got them in the first place. But to answer your question, standard option.
