I know this is long, and some will consider it useless. TS. :D I keep an excel spread sheet, and back up 3 ring binder on all my vehicles and bikes. Included are all purchase documents, window sticker, receipts for mods, service work, relevant TSB's, interesting articles etc. Being able to review with, and hand over this info to the next owner, has always helped me in facilitating a sale.

It will be three years tomorrow since I picked my truck up. I still love it and consider it as one of the most interesting and fun rides I've had. I have had no major problems with it, and nothing of a recurring nature. I thought too, that maybe some Nooby's (if they search) might find it useful if they are inquiring about reliability. Mine has never left me stranded.

Iv'e got no gripes either with the bottom line figure that I've spent on maintaining it. About $1740.00 over 3 years. This does not include the tires for $1382.00.

So anyway, read on if you choose to. Three years of reliable service, and some 42,000 miles now. I am also one of the fortunate ones with a good working relationship with my dealer, service advisor, and tech. I'll be ready for a 2010 or 2011 I think.

This is not an excuse, just an explanation with a caveat.

This was recommended to me by a tech at the dealer one day when I was there for a part pick up. Not my usual "SRT" tech who is the only one who works on my truck. He shows me a can of combustion cleaner and says to just spray some in after pulling intake tube to keep it nice and clean.

Lesson learned. Do your homework. I didn't, and in this case at least no harm was done to my knowledge. Thanks for the headsup.
