Count me in as one! What does a set usually run? Preferrably the last set ;)

Thanks

I think they should take care of the squealing stock brakes first.:(
Maybe you could mention this to them. ;)

Wouldn't these kits be too large to fit? Also, Dave from Zeckhausen stated that drilled kits would warp. What would be the situation with these kits?

I had big warping trouble with my Brembo's on my X5. They were drilled and slotted. I ended going back to stock!::mad:

You want slotted, forget about drilled.

At 2000 (highway) miles my original pads were chewing up the rotors so I changed to:
the discItalia drilled and slotted rotors ($1,075) http://www.brakeworld.com
and the pads ($179) from Zeckhausen.com
Centric Posi-Quiet Semi-Metallic pads ($167)Now after almost 2000 miles on the new setup I love them. The rotors now have a gray polished look across the face that is in contact with the rotor, NO grooves. I bedded them in twice per recommendations and felt no fade during the bedding in or after 1/4 mile drag racing. The new pads are very low dust and have a great feel, not as aggressive as stock, more like my 500SL, although the SL has unbelievable dust.

Jeep needs to address this brake issue. We shouldn't have to pay out of our own pockets for squealling and scoring problems. The brakes do seem to perform well though, and I would not upgrade them.

I need to change "just" the rotors and pads. I have a Brembo 2-pice rotor with a 4-piston Brembo kit on an 86' Callaway C4 and it works awesome.

On my GC I just want to change the fronts to a "2-piece" slotted rotor and new pads

Anyone have any info on this?

Absolutly all you would need to do. I am still working on Stoptech (my personal favorite brake company, I ran there stuff on my track preped wrx) to get us a two peice slotted rotor for the front. Those, stainless lines, and better pads, is all you would need. The stock brembos and master cylinder are very very hefty, even for our 5k lb trucks.

A four corner brembo kit is going to cost around 5k. Believe me. If its worth it for you guys for the bling, by all means, i will surely drool. But, if your doing it because you dont think it stops well enough, consider the mods above first.

You are soooo correct. That's why that's all I want.

I have the full (I don't remember the model) Brembo kit on a C4 with a full coil-over suspension, Herb Adams sways, bushings, yada yada (See pics, "Car is for sale BTW":D :D :D ). I did the suspension first, autocrossed it a little, ate the drilled (1-piece) rotors/and a decent set of pads up and already had a proportioning spring in the M.C. . Knew I would. Added the Brembo's wth drilled/slotted and and man, you talk about a difference!!. Obviously more swept area, but still "such" a difference.

You let me know, as long as the $ isn't "out there", I'm in. And fast, cause my rotors are pretty chewed up already:D
