Is the jeep str8 prone to get rock chip on a gravel roads?
Am asking cause i got about a 1km strech of gravel road to go to work.

Is my GC gonna be cover with rock chip after a month or its not to bad?
Dont plan driving over 40kph.

My drive way is gravel it drives me crazy my truck get so dusty but thats about it.

Keep the speed down and you should be ok! I hope its not slate, that stuff is razor sharp.

When I was working in Montana, I had a site that was 26 miles each way off of blacktop. I use to drive between 40-60MPH and dont have a single rock chip on the body of the vehicle, I do have a few gouges in the plastic parts behind the wheels but thats it.

I just looked at the commercial on their site, not bad. So how does it look, got a pic by any chance?

Also i checked for shop on their web site, hehe, none in my province:(

There are much better films out there than 3M. I would go with ClearMask AR or VentureShield. I have been installing PPF fro a while and I woul not even think about putting 3M on any of my vehicles. Sure it works... but the orange peel in 3M makes the finish look like crap.

Here is a pic. I had just picked her up after the tint and 3M install. There is really nothing to see. it is virtually invisible. It is applied to the hood, back of mirrors and the lower front ground effect.

check out this site. i recomend getting the bottom of the rear doors done. my got some good dings before i covered them.
