turbobuckeye 01-31-2009, 06:01 AM Just wanted to post up a quick reminder for everyone to keep an eye on post #1-6 for updates on the event. We will post updates within the thread, but if you happen to miss something and don't want to sift thru 2 pages of conversation then that is the best and quickest way to find what you are looking for. Most of the underlined titles or words are links which will take you to additional info as well. Check them out.
Additionally, anybody that starts a caravan thread please let me know so that I can add it to post #2 and help you round up more people for your caravan group. If you don't see a caravan started for the area you will be departing one then start a thread and you'll have a caravan before you know it.
HOTEL ROOMS - The Holiday Inn - South Youngstown (http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hotel/yngso?rpb=hotel&crUrl=/h/d/hi/1/en/mapsearchresults): All 158 rooms (S/D) until February 28th at the rate of $119.99/per night. Any rooms already booked will be adjusted to reflect the discounted rate. March 1, 2009 - June 15, 2009 the rate will increase to $129.99/per night. Don't wait until the last minute to book these rooms, nearly half of them are already gone.
The 18th of each month we'll hit you with updates on the event. That way everybody knows when to expect to see more info. If you have questions/concerns not answered you know you should see some feedback by the 18th. Some announcements may be too BIG to wait for the 18th, so we might update sooner. Keep an eye on the thread!!!
Anthony
turbobuckeye 02-05-2009, 09:36 AM Tentative schedule has been posted. Check it out!
2009 EVENT SCHEDULE (http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1506425&postcount=4)
This is not final yet, but we wanted to give everyone an idea of how the schedule is shaping up and also some of the caravan coordinators have been asking so they know when to get here and when they can plan on heading home.
Is it July yet? :D
turbobuckeye 02-20-2009, 03:48 PM GATE FEES:
$100.00 - Racing (Car/Driver) / $60.00 - Car Show (Car/Driver) - - - - - for entire weekend
$10.00 (Per Day) - spectators, passengers and children 13 and over.
We understand the sensitive environment of the economy and for this reason we are NOT taking any registration fees up-front this year from racing and carshow participants. Everyone planning to enter the carshow or racing competitions will pay their entry fees at the gate this year. Chuck and I discussed this prior to the announcement of the 09 event and we are very much looking forward to seeing everyone this year but also did not want to add to any hardships you may be addressing during the early months of 2009. Hopefully, this will allow everyone to plan and save up for the event but also take care of other financial responsibilities that need your attention, as well as complete some knock-out modifications before the event!!!

turbobuckeye 04-24-2009, 03:06 AM Thanks everyone for all the support, bumping those threads, getting those caravans organized and making this THE BEST LX & BEYOND NATIONALS event yet!!! If you don't see me posting up a lot its because I'm working hard to get details locked down for YOUR event. I don't take the LX community support lightly and appreciate that you all are coming to my home state of OHIO to meet new friends and old friends and have some FUN. Without all of you and your support the event is nothing.
Vendors sitting on the fence or waiting to the last minute.....time is running out. We have got to lock down many details that simply can not wait until the last minute. You know I love all ya'll and you know everybody wants to see you (we want to see you) so let's get moving and start locking down plans to get here on JULY 18-19. Make no mistake folks, ONLY the #1 vendors for the LX and SRT community will be here in 2009. Less than 3 months ago.
This is the largest LX-platform event left of the season. Don't be caught sitting at home wishing you were here.
Already 194 people on the registration list that are gonna say, "I told you so."
See ya'll in JULY!!! :D

turbobuckeye 05-05-2009, 03:36 PM SPONSOR ANNOUNCEMENT – Tuesday, May 5, 2009
Justin and the folks from ADVANCED AUTOMOTIVE CONCEPTS (http://automotivelightstore.com/) supported this event 2 years ago during its start-up when it was just a 1-day event called the Central Ohio LX Spring Meet & Greet. Again, without hesitation they stepped up and supported us last year as it expanded to a full-weekend event. We are very happy to have them back again for the 3rd year in a row as an official sponsor for the 2009 LX & BEYOND NATIONALS.
ADVANCED AUTOMOTIVE CONCEPTS (http://automotivelightstore.com/) is well known to the "LX Community" for bringing the innovative "halo-lights" to the lx-platform Dodge/Chrysler vehicles. Their list of lighting solutions to accent your ride and make it stand apart from the crowd include headlights, tailights, fogs, interior lighting and many more. ADVANCED AUTOMOTIVE CONCEPTS (http://automotivelightstore.com/) has been named the "OFFICIAL LIGHTING PRODUCT" of the 2009 LX & BEYOND NATIONALS.
They will be providing some very cool prizes for carshow participants.

turbobuckeye 05-11-2009, 03:10 PM LISTEN UP EVERYBODY: If you are a vendor/company or know of a vendor/company that YOU want to see in attendance at the 2009 LX & BEYOND NATIONALS have them give us a call (614.633.8033) or PM me their info and I will contact them. ;)
201 (http://lxforums.com/board/showpost.php?p=2067285&postcount=2) (and counting...) LX/LC Owners and SRT enthusiast planning to meet & greet, compete in a car show and/or drag racing sounds like a pretty darn good reason to make your presence felt. For anybody sitting on the fence that thinks this is "just a forum-based event" I challenge you to go to your favorite search engine and do a search for "lxandbeyondnats" or "lx & beyond nationals".
Whether it is distance or spare time that you are concerned about there is NO OTHER event in the United States left this season that you will get a chance to showcase your products or showoff your performance upgrades or your enthusiasm/passion for the LX/LC-platform and SRT cars.
Will you be one of those saying "I should have gone" or one of THESE GUYS (http://lxforums.com/board/showpost.php?p=2067282&postcount=1).
69 Days until the kick-off of the 2009 LX & BEYOND NATIONALS, LET'S GO!!!

I am very happy to announce that the Official LX & Beyond Nationals website has gone LIVE! This is a quick reference point to check on the status and details of the event as well as allow you to provide feedback so that we can continue making this the best LX/LC/SRT event in the country for many more years to come. As the attendance numbers and the size of the event continue to grow this will help us keep everything straight.
Check it out, look around, let us know what you think. We are requesting that everyone that is planning to attend to please register on the website so that we can update the attendee lists. I am hoping that we see 300 cars this year. How many do you want to see? turbobuckeye 06-15-2009, 12:25 AM The economy has gone way down since we held last year's LX & Beyond Nationals. This was a huge concern of ours before diving into the planning and setup of this year's event. As some of you may or may not be aware our title sponsor FREDERICK CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE (http://www.frederickdodge.com/) was on the list of dealerships to lose their rights to sell new Chrysler Jeep Dodge vehicles. Nobody could have predicted something like this would happen to any dealerships but I want to personally say thank you to Bob Frederick Jr. for supporting and believing in this year's LX & Beyond Nationals. We wish him, the employees of Frederick Chrysler Jeep Dodge and the community of Boardman, Ohio the best in the future. Mopar fans are losing a strong proponent for the brand and the community is losing an iconic piece of automotive history. Thank you for giving back to a hobby and Mopar automotive culture that we are all a part of.
The LX & Beyond Nationals has been and will always be about gathering as a family, reuniting with old friends and making some new ones, sharing ideas and experiences and having a whole lot of FUN!!! Due to the down-turn of the economy we will not be able to do an Extreme LX Makeover again this year. Thank you to everyone that inquired about it and we hope that sometime in the future we will be able to do it again. Also, I did want to let all of you know that thanks to ALL of our very generous sponsors/supporters that believed in us and the event we will be giving away $48,215.00 in prizes this year at the 2009 LX & BEYOND NATIONALS (http://www.lxandbeyondnats.com/)!!! I will announce all of the prize awards on Thursday, June 18th . . . . So STAY TUNED!!!
One last thing....I believe this may have gotten overlooked in prior posts so I want to re-address it today because its something that is very important to me. A good friend of mine, Ssulin Anne is planning to ride 180-miles in 2 days in the 2009 PELOTONIA BIKE TOUR (http://www.pelotonia.org/ride/riders_profile.jsp?MemberID=1856&RiderName=Ssulin%20Anne%20Jin) in August to help raise $2000 for Cancer Research. The LX & Beyond Nationals will be helping them raise that money. Ssulin Anne and “Team Hot Wheels” and some of their volunteers will have a booth setup at this year's event, also we are asking for some items from our sponsors to be raffled off to support them in their efforts to raise money for cancer research. You may also make donations via the Team Hot Wheels website (http://www.pelotonia.org/ride/riders_profile.jsp?MemberID=1856&RiderName=Ssulin%20Anne%20Jin). If you know or have known anybody affected by cancer please help them reach their goal. Every dollar raised by Pelotonia and its riders will go directly to fund cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
Thank you in advance for your support!
Is it July yet?!?
