So me and one of my friends were driving around, and i see a 911 turbo with dealer plates going through traffic, i didnt think he noticed me till we were at a yellow light. Were we sitting first at the light, and my friend in the car rolls his window down and asks him to roll his down. He then goes on to ask him "whats the retail on one of those" (fast and the furious haha) he goes about 90k. We were hoping he would say "More then you could afford pal" the light turned green and i took off. the ground was a little wet and we both were spinning i held on to about 80-90 and i see him hauling a$$ right past me like nothing. im pretty satisfied on how my jeep held up, i only have a canned tune, borla s and a bwoody 3.5

Hmm must have been pretty old? Even the 993 Turbo from the mid 90s was over 100k new.

not sure about that i just saw turbo on the back, like it said it was a dealer car so he might not have known the price. it looked like this in black. all i know is he walked right past me after about 80

Thats the 996...someone here will know the specifics but i think it was made about 2000-2006. In 07 they came out with the 997. Awesome cars and awd too. I think the 996 had 420hp stock but im not positive, it might have been 450. A friend of mine has one and we went for a ride (in CO too) and that turbo feel is awesome with the progressive speed build up that a turbo gives, handled like it was on rails too (MSRP on his 05 996 TT type S was like 145k i think with all the options). I must say my z06 is faster, but that turbo felt faster just the way the power got put down. Either way they are cool IMO.
