NMCA Late Model HEMI Shootout

Hey guys, just saw the National Muscle Car Association has scheduled the 2nd annual Modern HEMI Shootout at Maple Grove, Reading PA on 5-7 June 2009.

This is a "MUST BE THERE" type of event. Three days of racing, prizes, awards from great sponsors, and some damn good looking staff! Not to mention the magazine coverage that put several of us in Car Craft, Popular Hotrodding, HotRod and FSC magazine. The NMCA folks really took care of us at ATCO this year.

Needless to say, I will be wearing my "Late Model Hemi Shootout Champion" jacket (even if its 105 deg) for those that might be up for taking that title. We had a great turn out last time.....lets make this one even bigger and get the recognition we deserve.

The NMCA will host the first-ever Late-Model HEMI Shootout designed specifically for today’s modern Chrysler and Dodge muscle cars. This special event will have race and show classes designed for late-model and nostalgia HEMI muscle cars. Find out who has the fastest ’08/’09 Dodge Challenger in the world at the NMCA’s Late-Model HEMI Shootout at awesome Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, PA.

Race classes are to be announced, however, there will be a Late-Model HEMI index class, a Quick 8 or 16 heads-up class, as well as specific awards for the World's Fastest Late-Model Challenger and much more! Stay tuned for more information to come.
