This has turned out to be more of a challenge than first thought. When we develope a package we have to make sure it does more than just tow. It must be usable and safe for all. Stay tuned, we are committed to figure it out....stay tuned....

I just had a talented friend install a stock 06 grand cherokee hitch on my )7 srt. He had to remove the rear bumper and cut a slot for the hitch to enter. Looks factory. It took him six hours. He had to remove the parts that the emergency cable hooks up too, and moved it to the detachable part. Thought you would like to know the the heavy duty bolts are in place for this hitch.

Has anyone had any success with the GS (paxton) blower kit? So far everything I have read is negative.

Thanks,

John Watt:)

Having just did my own install of a regular GC hitch to a SRT8 and modding the mounts for the safety chain its not rocket science for them to take that mount location / hitch and make it better. The receiver even ends close enough to the bumper corssbar that most after market exhausts WILL fit. The BB mufflers are away from the whole assy, even the corsa is close but looks like it will fit.

They can take the GC hitch, flush the rec end with the bumper, extend the safety chain loops down and out away from the pipes, make a nice block off plate and its finished.

I had mine installed by an outfit that specializes in hitches.

I have no idea what the engineers are thinking. In Japan, they are towing cars with motorcycles!!
