I would like to do a complete SRT8 Conversion to a limited GC.

Can someone please tell me where i can find the cheapest front end, side skirts, and rear end? Also on the rear can i take any exaust made for the SRT8 and put it on for my Hemi? Such as Corsa? Thanks!

I think you should sell it and get an SRT8 instead. Its gonna cost you quite a bit of $$$ to get these parts. You will definitely pay a premium and might as well have the real thing. Course that's just my 2 cents. Good luck either way.

well i havnt gotten the limited yet, im buying used and itll be about 25k for a used limited hemi im guessing, and i cant afford a srt8 and the insurance.

I have Mercury and they don't even have the JGC SRT8 listed in their system. They only have the 5.7 liter HEMI so that helps a little bit lol. I.E. My Charger has a symbol rating of 20 while the JGC has a symbol rating of 18. Suckers!!!

I agree with Our Zoo, the differences go deeper than just appearance and a "complete conversion" will be complicated and costly. The suspension and mechanics of the SRT are vastly different and, when all is said and done, you still won't have an SRT... what you'll have is a VERY expensive lower end model that you'll lose your A$$ on at resale.

It makes infinitely more sense to find a good used SRT...even if you do take a hit on the insurance, it will be miniscule compared to what you'll drop into a conversion and fail to recoup at resale.

no just body thats all. I dont want the srt8. Im not gonna race it and such i just want a hemi limited. anyone know sites to get bumpers and such or prices, thanks

I am in the process of performing the front bumper conversion with all brand new parts. I am a DCX Preferred customer and receive all parts at dealer cost.

Believe it or not, the front fascia and all related hardware including the vents and the SRT8 Grille is in the ball park of $1100.

I still have to have the bumper painted, which will be about $400-$600.

I have the side sills which were part of the Mopar Body Kit...

I guarantee that this will be an expensive lesson to learn…

thats crazy! could you get pricers for rear bumper and such? do you think a corsa catback made for the SRT8 will work on reg hemi if i get the rear bumper and remove my spare?

Stay away. I just did the front bumper conversion on my Laredo and it was A LOT more than I thought. Good luck.

you can get an srt8 used for about 35k, thats about a wash for what your gonna pay to convert your 5.7 and it wont perform anywhere close to ours, pretty cheesy idea,in my opinion, but hey its your money. plus youll be giving us a bad name when you get smoked everywhere you go, theyll be a bunch tbss owners bragging how they smoked an srt8, cant be having that!!!!

find the parts used and you will pay half what they are quoting

I think they call this a rice violation as they say on the honda forums... Its like having an intercooler with no turbo car. I understand insurance facors but look at it this way your going to spend 5k plus on all these parts and now ur car will cost 30kish and you will still not have the looks or feel of the car. Yea you dont race it, but it still is a different feel. You can find an srt8 for 30 now a days and you dont pay that much for insurance. Have you even got a quote?
