I am sure you all know what trade in is for the Jeeps, but I thought I would let you all know what they offered me today, a measly 24k. I guess that is expected from dealers and auctions with the economy the way it is. Ouch!

They're looking for distressed sellers just like we're looking for desperate dealers. You should have said yes on a contingency they reduce the purchase price $15K on the new car.

On another note, I just picked up an IMMACULATE 07 with 26k on the clock for $27,000. $24 aint to far out of the ballpark. The economy is TERRIBLE.

^ the difference in an 07 and 08 in just the technological upgrades is pretty substantial , ie hids/touch screen nav, dark leather...hell if i would get rid of my jeep for that kind of coin. For that much i'd rather just keep it and buy a vortech kit ;);)

an 08 Z06 with low mileage that listed for 80,000, that can be found and bought for 70,000 new, now sells at auction for 51,000.....all have taken huge hits...well, the Honda CR=V is holding up well.

Yeah I saw on 03 Viper, 12,000 miles and wanted to get it. I miss my last Viper and there are some great deals out there on them right now. The dealer offered me $17,000 for my 07 Jeep with 28k miles. I laughed and said I didnt want the car anymore. I would have bought it straight out but after getting insulted like that for my Jeep the can kiss my a$$.

a silver 06 just went through the auction for $22,500.00 with 32000miles...

KEEP IT! I sold my 2006 4cyl altima with 20" dubs & a drop, 2 years ago for $22k anyone thinking of trading in now will LOOSE!

Where are the dealers that have them for 20k? If there was a dealer within 500 miles of here that had one that low without a lot of miles I would buy one tomorrow. Im sure I could get rid of my 98 Formula for 10k or so and my Blazer for maybe 5k.
