My son hooked up his his ipod video to the VES system. He was playing music videos through the rear screen-pretty cool. Then when he skipped to the next song, the video got got screwed up on the the VES screen (OK on the IPOD). It looked like an old TV when the horizontal hold was off. Problem with the iPOD or the VES?

Just disconnect and reconnect the iPod. A cable probably came loose.
