Hello all, I am the proud new owner of a new 08 srt8. I love the way the Jeep sounds now, but I am looking at options for a new exhaust system. Right now I'm looking at Corsa or Borla, but I'm open to other options. I'd like to hear them first hand before buying. If you are down for a meet, let me know. How about another Woodland Hills meet?

I am seriously thinking about making the run down there. My truck only has 150 mile on the ticker so I figure it would be a good oportunity to break in the motor.

If you like a ballsy sounding exhaust, which is a bit loud borla S all they way. If you like major ballsy loud kooks headers with Borla S, that's what I have.

Of all the sound clips I've heard, I think the Borla-S by far sound the best. The only problem is that I live near Santa Monica and spend a lot of time in the South Bay, where there are signs as you enter the city that say they WILL cite for modified exhaust. Don't get me wrong, I love loud exhaust, but it's hard to live with living in the city. My last truck was an 02 Yukon with a built 6.0 motor, Procharger supercharger, TOG longtube headers, custom Magnaflow exhaust, and a Yank 3000 stall converter. The engine was loud... the supercharger was loud... the exhaust was loud. It was to the point that I would hesitate getting on it because it could be heard... and felt, from blocks away. I ended up selling that truck and getting the SRT8 because it was time to smog and there was no way that beast would pass. Also blowing the tranny 3 time was not much fun.

Sound is subjective, so i would like to hear it for myself. Man, do I really want those Borla's, but I think I'm leaning towards the Corsa.

Hope to see you guys in SD

Same as your past truck just don't get on it much in town......hell i can't cuz i draw too much attention and all 4 wheels will screech!

And about the smog i'm 100% sure you could of made a friend who could hook u up on the smog part!

Don't pass up on the best looking and best sounding exhaust for any reason if it's smog legal! Drive it conservative and it won't get u in trouble

Just a heads up, I got an invite from the owner of DC Performance to come listen to a set of Corsas that they are installing on a Challenger SRT8 this monday.

I have the Corsa on my rig, and let me tell you, it is NOT quiet AT ALL. WOT sounds like a dragster going down the street. Ok, maybe not that loud, but it is up there! I love the Corsa. I've heard the Borla and it's nice, but I prefer my Corsa over anything :)

Hey SRT8girl12, how would you compare the sound of the Borla vs the Corsa. I want more sound, but I don't want it to be too loud.

Well I've heard all of these guys rigs with the Borla, and I have to say, it's way loud. And between the two, the Borla has more drone, although a lot of people on here would say it doesn't. I would definitely go with the Corsa, but give it some time, because it gets louder as time goes on. If you are afraid the Corsa isn't loud enough, don't be. When I start my rig, everyone turns their head. I wouldn't change my exhaust for anything! :D

Are you looking for sound or a performance gain? If your looking for a performance gain 4 get it keep stock exh if you want noise go with the borla S or the coarse but i have heard them all and think HEMI@LAST borla T and its very quiet compaired to stock and the rest and i think that be the way to go.
1-performance - keep stock ( save 1200 buxs )
2-noise - borla s or corase
3-nice quiet tone - borla t
