Whats the stall speed on stock srt-8 converter? Also can the shift points be tuned through a programmer or flash, i.e. change shift quickness, shift points?

I think the stall speed is 2200.

You can reflash the TCM to change shift behavior. There is a TSB for some who experience hard shifting to get a new flash. I had the flash loaded just before Christmas and like the new shift patterns.

i mean tuning the shift points like you can on a chevy or a ford with a plug in tuner. on a chevy you can adjust the torque management, rpm, and shift speed for each shift.

i wouldn't want a TSB for hard shifting, tranny's are supposed to shift firm. drive a 6 speed auto 550i BMW...THAT is how a tranny should shift.

Actually a a 6 Speed manual M3 is how a transmission should shift.

It's not a TSB for harsh shifting, it's to quicken shifts. Quite a few earlier builds, mine included, were experiencing a decent delay in the 1-2 sometimes 2-3, and 3-4. Shifts post TSB are firmer than ever.
