Really nice. I like them alot. I didn't think that 22's were the way to go but you might have changed my mind. I'm ordering Forgeline SP3-P's but am not sure if I will go with 20's or 22's. What tires are on your wheels?

First of all, BOTH of you're rides are hott. ge2 I'd like to see some more pics. I am certainly curious on how the ride is on 30/35 profile. How does the GC handle the extra weight on takeoff or breaking or anything else worth mentioning?

I don't have the exact number here (it's at my office), but my 22s and tires are multiple pounds lighter than my stockers were, at each corner.

Here are a few pics (kinda big.... sorry):

Thanks very much. I have a few more little appearance things coming up in the next month or so, and I'm swapping my intake and exhaust out for some others, but other than that, I'm really happy with it as it sits.

Isn't it bumpy? Understand something here, I'm not complaining about the ride of the GC, I do like the feel of it very much. But I'm just scared the GC would drive crappy with those tires. Afterall, my Envoy XUV with a 2/4 DJM drop and 22s rides smoother than the GC currently?:D

I haven't owned a non-lowered ride, without low profile tires in many many years. I've done everything from 18 to 26s, and am really in touch with the minute changes that tires make. These made hardly any difference--if any at all. The run flat stockers have such incredibly stiff sidewalls, that they don't offer much in the way of comfort. If you want a cushier ride, you might try something close to stock size, but in a non-run flat. From what I can see, it's really the SRT suspension that makes things bumpy, not just the rubber.

autoadd. - like your wheels. Very funny how you blocked off both the handicaped spot and the handicaped bus unloading area :D Watch out though, that area of Jersey is patroled by a lady with nothing better to do but take photos of that and send off to the police. Happened to Donovan McNabb and Trotter :D Very funny though, makes the truck look even more mean.

ge2 - why no billet antenna?????

My tires are 265/35/22 and 295/30/22.

I don't have a billet antenna for personal reasons. Here's the story.... I drove a volvo 760 in my younger days, and it had an auto up/down antenna. Once day, while driving through the carwash, I turned the radio on, and up can the antenna. It broke, with just one retractable section stuck in the up position. It looked just like an 8 inch billet antenna does. So to me.... these stubbies look like broken pieces of junk :) I know that's not how everyone else sees them, it's just cuz of my stupid mistake so many years ago. I will likely switch mine to a black 16 (or so) incher at some point, or relocate the antenna all together.

I thought it was better than the pic I had of my SRT. You know, a chance for people to learn more about all the cool stuff I have that has nothing to do with my SRT. ;)

it's awesome
p.s. - hey ge2, any word on black wheels yet? I haven't been able to find s*it, and I decided not to go with the giovanna's from Randy just because there is only one tire type that fits them, and I don't think they'll be ideal for winter driving in the northeast (although this winter you could be driving drag radials on the streets it's been so dry!). . . your continued help in my search is appreciated!, I have seen some of the black powder coated stockers out there and they're a little dull for me, so I prob will just continue to wait. . . help!

One more question if you don't mind. Did they build these wheels with OEM tire pressure sensors? Did you get new one's or swap them out. And have you had any problems with the new setup? I'm having Forgeline wheels built, which are going to take 4 to 5 weeks, unfortunately, and am probably just going to have them build the wheels with new sensors and tires. Decided to stay with 20's but with a modified offset for a more agressive look (bigger lip). We'll see how it turns out. Thanks,

Just buy a new set of sensors and put them in prior to mounting the rubber. No setup or calibration is needed. I've had no issues with my new ones at all. And the coolest part??????..... I put my stock SRT wheels and tires on my wife's Jeep, and the sensor in those meshed perfectly with the Commander setup.

whats up Ge2? Im from washington as well and know scooter from car nutz.. small world. anyway, still trying to decide if im gonna go 22 or 24, I just wish the 22s would fill in the wheel well. But I dont want the 24s to look outrageously big. What do u think? u seem to know alot more than discount tires. also what part of WA? Im out here in kirkland.

bugz..... i'm in Mill Creek (though actually sitting in the Kirkland Permorming Arts Center as I type this). Yeah.... I dig 24s too, but in my eyes they are just too big for this mid-sized Jeep. I couldn't be happier with my choice to go with 22s on this thing. My jeep will likely be back at Nutz in the next couple weeks for some additional work :)
