Was at a stop light next to an E46 M3. I only have 251 miles on the truck and am still getting used to the sometimes aggressive throttle tip in so when we left I went out pretty hard. M3 figures I am racing so he gets on it - so of course I get on it. Dead heat pretty much. A little later we made a double lane right turn and got on it. I did not give it enough throttle around the corner so the dang truck upshifted and when I floored it it took awhile to downshift and take off so the M3 got big jump on me. Once I got on the pipe the distance between us was dang close with him probably edging me a bit. Makes sense given the low 13 second times some guys are getting with these trucks at the strip. Maybe a couple thousand miles from now the truck will loosen up and get a bit faster, but pretty dang good for a truck that weighs 1,300 pounds more than the M3.

Start from a complete stop and it will be a very lopsided race - Trust me! ;)
