Anyone know whats the best way to get the rear '08 fog lights working on the 08 jeeps that didnt come with the harness ? - outside of buying one from mopar or somebody.

I am curious to and what I want is for them to just be a steady burning lamp that DO NOT go on with the brake lights.

I think there was a write-up on here. It requires an extra harness, some splicing, and soldering. But I don't get involved with that, so I just left it alone. It still reflects from headlights.

I wouldn't think it would be hard to splice into the tail light wiring?

I just used two standard female electrical connectors available at all Auto Parts stores and built my own harness. To make sure they were sealed in the housing I siliconed the opening in the bulb base where the factory harness would plug in. Almost looks like it came the way from the factory and works great.

This is the type of connector I used- It fit tight and works great. Also used the #97 bulbs as they are a great match for the running lights- not super bright. Start to finish the whole project took 45 minutes.
