Went in to get an alignment and they tire place I took it too said they couldn't do an alignment because the lower ball joints had too much "slack" in them and the alignment would stay. So they gave me some repair price quote (convenient) and sent me on my way.

I am still under warranty(not much longer) so I called the dealership to see what there thoughts where and they said they would look at them but they have to be out of spec before they would replace them.

Has anyone else had this issue? Should I take it to another alignment shop?

Dealer should cover that, if they dont get the spec;s from the alignment shop and a 2nd opinion so you can to prove what they say, and then take it up the chain, IMO...

Not sure, the shop might not know what they are doing. From the looks of the mechanics they might not be top notch. I am going to have the dealer look at it sometime this week and see what they say.
