There is a local dealer selling a 2007 fully loaded gcsrt8 for 26k. The problem is its got a little over 50k miles!!! Do you guys think it would even be worth it to go and look at it? Its a certified used car, but if I do go and look what else should I ask for? extended warranty obviously but what else? Anything I should for/ listen for when test driving? Any feedback would help, thanks guys!!

Tell them you give them $20,000.00 and then maybe you can get it for $23,000.00.

I would say go look at it. I have found that the majority of people that purchase SRT8's know what they are getting and have a tendency to take care of them quite well. I purchased mine for right around the same price with an extended warranty and have been pleased regardless of the 42k miles that were put on it. Just understand that there will be things that you have to expect with one with that many miles, some rock chippage, little wear on plastics etc. All of those things give you some leverage to negotiate with the dealer.

Also, it's quite possible that there may be some goodies already added to the rig that you may have considered to add yourself that the dealer really doesn't know what they are. Mine had a clear bra, exhaust & intake, and around $1000 in dynomat that was already installed when I purchased it.

Get a used 2008 for around that much. 50k is a lot of miles. But if you really like it, don't pay a dollar more than private party value.

Wellp I sure havent seen any 08's going for that price yet but you can certainly find an 07 with much lower miles for that price. You can however find an 08 for very low 30's now.
