Just a guess on what you got at the crank not wheel, and let's see what we dealing with.

Me 420 stock (not for long)

With the tune and intake, I think I was pushing 440 hp/tq.

386whp DynoJet corrected numbers from 369.9whp on a DynoDynamics AWD dyno. 457 at motor on DynoDynamics or 482 at motor on DynoJet. Take your pick. I just like to say I'm shy of 500!:D;) That was all before my BWoody and an RDP tune. I need to get it re-dyno'd. I ran a faster time with the new tune.

Bwoody/Borla S/Diablo i'd estimate around 450hp

After Friday i'll be be pushing 550+ easily

I just used an online calculator that figures it out from the 1/4 mile timeslip (which I have a few laying around ;)).
But it seems wayyyy too much from what you guys are posting, it just doesn't seem right for the mods I have. What am I doing wrong? Or is this online calculator all f'ed up?
The 20% drivetrain loss is the default on their website, should it be more?

Vehicle Weight with driver (lbs) 4855Lbs
Elapsed Time (sec) 12.569
Drivetrain loss (%) 20%

Results:
491.3 Rear Wheel HP
614.1 Crankshaft HP

With all that damn wheel lift u have in ur pic Mario it sure does seem like u have 600+ crank torque!

Do you know what should be the drivetrain loss percentage I should be using?
Anybody else know of a good online calc to figure this out? I'm using the one from Smokem-up.

Why did you only run a 12.5???

I put down 489 RWHP, and run consistent 11.7s

Why did you only run a 12.5???

I put down 489 RWHP, and run consistent 11.7sLet's see James... Maybe because I'm not running a 150 shot and kooks headers....?

And probably because you know your numbers of 489 RWHP because you had it dynoed?

As I mentioned on my original post, I'm using an online calculator and those are the numbers that spitted out, which is wayyy too high for the mods I have. I have never dynoed my jeep so I don't know for sure, that's why I'm using this online calculators thinking it would show something similar to what you guys are posting but is not.

Another online calculator game this...
Horsepower Results - 1/4 Mile Method
Your Jeep SRT8 weighs about 4855 pounds and can complete a 1/4 mile in about 12.567 seconds. That means that you've got about 483.48 HP at the wheels, and about 628.53 HP at the flywheel.

James, just get rid of your 150 shot and kooks and use this online calculator instead and you get similar numbers LOL.... :D:D:D

I go by 25% but that doesn't even seem accurate to me

That online calulator probobly doesnt take into account gearing on these rigs which allows you to get such a great 60 ft time.

Hey bro.
Best I can give you is when Josh dyno'd my jeep AWD dyno it put down 453AWHP = 458 AWTQ. I believe Josh did a few other jeeps making around the same. NOW when he dyno'd LX cars with same 426, they were averaging about 505 RWHP. Considering 20% drivetrain loss for automatic 2wd cars, then the equivalent would be roughly 28% drivertrain loss for the jeep on the dyno he uses.
Thanks,
Jason

837 horsepower boost-only with 110 Octane at 12-13psi

Thats street drivable, much more horsepower left in it but the TCM can't handle it.

Oh I never said i was the king, the other dude did. JH put down 821AWHP from his previous thread.

However, my Jeep has a lot more left in it.... Plus if all goes well with our secret plan, the new "tune" and agumented N20 system may put me up near 1000AW.

Of course, its not how much power you have, but the time you run.... if it doesn't make it to the ground, what good is a number?

Did you do a whp versus crank hp on different dyno for those #s?

I've stated in previous thread that the guy that had themustang dyno I used when I was stock said he did chassis vs motor dyno on sti and it was over 30% drivetrain loss. He said his dyno was around 30 - 35% drivetrain loss.
