Ok, it might be coincidental but I don't think so. After installing the in cabin air filter (works great by the way) according to the instructions on WKJEEPS.COM I'm getting a small trickle of water coming from under the glove box near the front passenger door. This happens consistently after I go through a car wash. Haven't noticed any leaking after rain (yet). I've already pushed back the weather stripping to ensure it is tight - twice now. But it is still leaking.

Any ideas???

When I put my cabin air filter in I was worried that it might leak, you can see the filter from outside the vehicle. I have not had a leak yet. I do not go through car washes, I use the self wash bay during the winter and am careful with the water around the area of the filter.

Is there any possible way to put a drain hole (in front of the filter) to allow incoming water a better place to exit?

I have been looking at this cabin air filter, but I would not want any extra sources of water intrusion......

Ok I finally brought it into the Dealer. I was able to pin point the problem down to happen only when the Auto Climate is NOT on Auto. So when I go through a car wash and the Climate is on Auto I get no leak at all. The dealer spoke to a regional rep and reported back that this is normal because when the Climate is on Auto the vents under the glove box around that area are closed. On the non-Auto settings these vents are open and because of the high water pressures of the car wash you may get water through these vents. If this is true then this is a design flaw as I've never had this happen to any other vechicle. Anyone else out there able to verify this?
