The only thing in that interior that I like is the speaker grilles in the doors. The cluster cover looks to "added-on". IMO. Other than that it's identical to my '06.

Not really understanding why everyone is so in love with this interior.....pretty sure it only has the leather wrapper cluster top and trim rings around the speakers.....The cluster cover would take a day at a leather shop and the trim rings are just a little piece of plastic. Dont really see what all the fuss is about. If you want the leather wrapped cluster take it off and get it wrapped....the trim rings are a little harded but they can be made too...

srt8 is on point. this was a judicious use of lighting!

My local dealer told me startech (a brabus company) will deliver this leather parts only in exchange way afterwards.

Means you have to send your dashboard, door cards, etc. to startech/brabus in Bottrop/Germany and get in change some with leather on back.

The price only for the leather parts is in Euro 1,400 (incl. VAT) = 1,850 US $

I called startech/brabus in Bottrop and they told me you US guys should call the Brabus US importer

No, I think it may just be the lighting, but I'm not sure. It isn't enough of a difference from my '06.

I REALLY want an ALL DARK interior and I LOVE the leather wrap on the dash.

The colour is just a photo illusion. There is another thread link to all the pictures of this interior. It is the same colour as ours.

The Startech-sourced interior looks cheap and "added on", I don't like it at all. Not to mention it's grossly overpriced.

Hopefully some of the 2008 improved interior parts will be interchangeable. The interior color is changing from "Medium Slate" to "Dark Slate" but don't know if that is just the seats or other components as well.

That picture is nothing more than a photo take in HDR. It's a composite of 3 pictures, one over exposed by +1, one at neutral, another at -1 underexposed. Composite them together in PhotoShop and tweak the whitesoure/shadows/etc. and viola, makes the ordinary look extraordinary.

If you want to change your current interior, I have a guy who will re do all the seats, door panels, head liner etc. in any color any fabric.
He is located in NY
Just a thought.....I am thinking or doing mine.

I really like the recessed ignition switch. I have hit my knee on my key more than once. Even shut the Jeep off on the interstate until I got used to it. I am more careful now, but like the idea of the recessed key hole.
