2007GCSRT8

Well I'm finally ready to go out and pick up an SRT8, which one is still to be decided. It seems most people on this thread hate Hennessey. Is this because his cars break down #1, or #2 is this because his cars break down and it is impossible to get him to fix them?
Am I right in saying the SRT8 600 is the fastest SUV out there right now? I understand he is asking $80,000 right now for one, is that a fair price for what one gets?
Is there somewhere else I could get a Jeep with the same speed and power if Hennessey is so bad?
Thanks for the help, and please keep it civil when responding.

Dont waste your money on JH. Do some research on the 300c forums, here, the blue site, etc and I think youll come to the realization that you wont want anything to do with JH.
I havent heard too many stories about JH cars breaking down but I have heard endless stories of work done wrong or not done at all and charging an arm and a leg for it.
Buy the Jeep and wait a few months for more power adders to come on the market. Companies are really slacking on the aftermarket upgrades for the GC.

People don't like Hennessey because he never keeps his promised time tables, sells people's take-off parts without the vehicle being done & openly threatens people who talk a little ill of him.
IMO Hennessey is a good tuner who can make incredible power, but with that being said, $80k for that Jeep on eBay is absolutely insane. There are better options now to get almost as much power, and there will definately be better, CHEAPER options in the near future (I am hoping sooner than later).
I personally would (and am) getting a Jeep SRT8 in the next few weeks and will be doing ported heads/intake, CAI, headers/hiflow cats, and electric exhaust cutouts immediately. Then I will play the waiting game for a tuner to bring an FI mod to the market that has been THOROUGHLY TESTED and at a "reasonable price". The above mods will cost in the neighborhood of $5000. When a good supercharger or turbo comes out I can't imagine paying more than $6k to $7k for it...
2006 JEEP SRT8 (we had it for 45K) u may get it for $41k
ported heads + headers+ cat-back= roughly $6500 (it depends from where)
GSM kit (7k)
PPP 7.0L stroker kit (3k)
install all (5k) maximum with two days dinner with my GF :)
thats about 66k .. and I am challengin the SRT8 600 from Hennesy:p
my above calculation is more than what it should.. however, its less than hennesy by 15-20k and more power!:D
