I purchased my SRT used. Does anyone have a clue if I get in free?

I think you only go for free if you were the original purchaser. Anyone can go if they pay the fee, however.

I got a response back and they only wanted the last 8 digits of the VIN. I started my original e-mail with telling them I just bought it used and they didn't balk, so we'll see. I'm waiting for a response with baited breath.

I am trying to get registered for the Friday session but they do not have my VIN listed. I have faxed a copy of my window sticker to them and they are suppose to add me to the list (it is a new 2007).

Apparently the previous owner already used the one credit purchased with my vehicle. :(

I just checked my e-mail and I am confirmed for Friday. Hope some more of you new owners will be able to make it to this session.

I did this last year and it was a gas!

At the end, you get to take a hot lap in the vehicle of your choice; I chose the Viper because I have a Z06 I'm considering tracking and figured the Viper would give me a good idea on how my vette would perform. I almost chose the GC, though, and sometimes wish I did; but hey, it's all good. :)

Those of you that have already attended; did anyone choose the GC and what was your take on it?

Anyone notice that they might have a different crew doing it this year? Last years was done by Skip Barber for the one I did at Watkins Glen (and it was a BLAST!) Does it depend on the venue? Just got this email today:

The SRT (Street and Racing Technology) Track Experience is an entire day of full-throttle action providing SRT owners and performance enthusiasts with professional instruction to increase driving knowledge in a safe and structured setting.

I wonder what vehicles they will use for the Drifting event? The new modules make me want to go again.

Man, I wish I could go, but $500 is halfway to a cat-back.

I'm signed up for the Los Angeles track experience in July. The weather should be a mild 90 to 95 degrees. :(

I don't think anyone will be running the track vehicles with the air conditioner on though :D

I am confused... I thought the track experience was included in the purchase price of the SRT, as it said on the sticker. Have you already used your *coupon* from your SRT?

Is anyone else signed up for this Friday's session at Texas Motor Speedway? I just checked the weather and there is a 30% chance of rain. Hopefully they will not change up the class too much if it does rain.
