I think that from the back it looks good, but from the side its a little ugly looking - i'll slap it on see how i get used to it and if i still doubt it i'll just go with the mopar - sucks that the mopar one you'll have to get painted because it doesnt come in black clear coat.
OurZoo 01-07-2007, 02:29 PM I agree. I do like it from the back not the side. I've seen the Mopar in person. When I'm ready, that'll be the one I go with.
maf1960 01-07-2007, 03:22 PM I hope that those are not oil spots for ur SRT/8 in the driveway..

lol no way - just got out of the carwash
gculver 01-07-2007, 06:27 PM Thanks for the pics. Looks ok, but a little large from the side profile,IMO. :)
kramsay1234 01-07-2007, 09:59 PM Spoiler doesn't look bad, but is not for me. I would like to ask though what car wash gets the back of your truck so clean? I am not one to take my black vehicles through automatic car washes. I have tried the touchless though, but the truck comes out the other end wet and dirty.

Str8Srt8 01-07-2007, 10:08 PM Let me know how it helps out with the dirt on the back window. I have the mopar and it doesn't help with the rear window much.
HulkSmash 01-07-2007, 10:26 PM I agree with everyone that said it looks better from the back. From the side it looks a little like you took the Mopar spoiler and inflated it with helium.
HoustonSRT-8 01-07-2007, 10:41 PM I'd like to see side pics and angled side pics from farther away.
HulkSmash 01-07-2007, 11:03 PM I'd lie to see side pics and angled side pics from farther away.
No need to lie, I'm sure he'd do it if you just asked him honestly.

Whoops. :D
kramsay1234 01-08-2007, 12:33 AM I don't see this spoiler doing anything for the dirt on the back window with that space between the roof.

No spoiler is going to prevent that due to the vacuum/low pressure area generated around the back of our Jeeps.
TurboWill 01-11-2007, 07:22 AM Wow, looks great!
Street WK 02-10-2007, 10:58 PM Did you ever get it installed?

But does the Mopar spoiler help with the dirt buildup? Anyone have one installed that can comment?

Thanks for that. Sounds like it doesn't help at all.
Alex
I equipped my trunk monkey w/both a sombrero & windex, which helped my downforce & keeps my rear window clean! :D
scottiekay 02-13-2007, 06:29 PM Looks like the wing on my Scion XB

I got the picture off the internet at www.tuningmag.net Type in Jeep SRT8 in the search box for more pictures. It's a tricked out European spec GCSRT. I wonder if that rear spoiler will keep the rear window clean?
maxxjeep 02-14-2007, 08:41 AM That is an awesome looking machine, surely those are duece duces. the wing although kinda cool, could be regarded as redonkulous.
If it is hard to keep the back clean, that is just a great excuse to go wash it again! :)
nlgrav182 02-15-2007, 06:50 AM Those wheels are 24's... I found the company/dealer that did that SRT8.

RonConcept 02-15-2007, 07:41 AM Razor...I think I'm going this way, I have a simular spoiler on my 5.9 and love it. question ; is it soild or holow? my 5.9 was holow which didn't matter I filled it with automotive foam and has worked for the past 5 years.
googone20 02-15-2007, 10:31 AM Is that the new black color for 2008? Looks like the same color my wife has on her 2004 GC. Hers is the glittery black, almost like a brown tint to the black.
kramsay1234 02-15-2007, 11:35 AM Good point. That does look like Brilliant Black in the pics. Hard to say.
