2 days ago, we had a Jeep making about 765 rw hp that seemed to run, drive and shift very good while being brutally fast. We wanted more power so we tried running bigger injectors and got another 45 rw hp but it took a lot more time to tune and the tune was not perfect like the 765 rw hp tune was. Then we swap tranny's hoping for a stronger tranny. Then we find out the valve body is no good, so time to swap that out. Then we have to put in new tranny controller, then let it learn. Then once the tranny is shifting good, the air fuel is off and its midnite tonite and the track is closing.

Mr. Murphy once again proves that anything that can go wrong will go wrong. The moral of the story is that when you have a setup that is working pretty well, like we did 2 days ago, dont mess with it.

My guys worked really hard and did all they could to try to get us down the track tonite, but we just ran out of time. Too many last minute changes to sort out.

Monday we will put the smaller injectors back in and re-check the tune. Then we will try to make another pass. If the tranny has issues again, then it comes out and the old one goes back in.

If you are going to make changes you have to do them one at a time and that is the only way to isolate things that dont work or that need attention.

Sorry we were not able to get a full pass in tonite. But we will be back out on the track soon.

Still gotta be awesome that you can make these "small changes" and within minutes take it out back and get 1/4 mile numbers. That's more tuning then most can ask for!

Hey JH, Missed you tonight. Sorry you had issues. I was hoping to see a 10 tonight. I know from personal experience how frustrating it can be. I'm sure you guys will get her straightened out and make some good passes in the near future. Pretty nice having a drag strip in your back yard! Best of luck and keep us posted on how it goes.

Well the day was so so. Was great to have everyone stop by today. It was great meeting everyone. Well I kind of wished I would have let my guys work on the Jeep all week do we could have done some testing last few days but once the big race was off getting customers cars out was a little more important.

We got the Jeep finished up about 6 pm or so tonight but then had some transmission issues. Got those resolved about 9:30pm and went out to make a run and for some reason it was cutting out so he backed out of it past the 1/8th and ran a 11.9 at 94 mph. :) We had no issues on the Dyno or on the street but something was funky. Tried one more time and same issue. It was late and my guys were tiredso we parked it. We didnt want to do any damage. We will solve it this week and get our run in. It for sure has a 10 in it. The guys who rode in it were frigging shocked as hell on how fast it is. It is stupid fast.

Thanks again for everyone stopping by and hope everyone had a good time. We will do it again for sure. And we will get you some video soon of a good run
