Do the SRT8 roof rails use the same screws that the Grand Cherokee roof rails use and vise versa or do I need to order different screws?

My dealer did not show the screws are a related item in the exploded diagram.

I have a JGC and would like to remove my rack and replace with the SRT8 roof rails.

Any help would be helpful!

The SRT8 does not have roof rails. What it has is a strip of "plastic/rubber" trim. Underneath the trim is a molding that is taped to the roof and the strip snaps into the molding. The strip will cover the holes of the original roof rails but there are no covers for the screws so the screws will be exposed to the elements and possibly rust over time. This is why I installed the roof rails. The rood rails I installed is from the Overlander. When I installed the roof rails on the SRT8, the dealer ordered all the parts including the screws. The screws for the SRT8 is shorter than the screwes used in the roof rails. Hope this helps.

I was able to salvage 4 screws from the srt rails for the new roof rails. You will need longer ones for the other 4 holes.
