I am planning on getting one of these machines. The question is how soon. I am in the process of trying sell my current vehicle. I am waiting for the dealer to give me a tradein offer. Has anyone bought one of these at invoice? What have been your experiences? BTW, i have spent a lot of time searching this forum and it is very helpful. Hope to be a contributer soon.

I got $1500 under invoice in NW PA. It depends really on where you are because some customer are paying more. If you are willing to shop around you should be OK. usually someone on the forum will tell you where they have seen one. It's no use using the dealer finder because it doesn't recognize the SRT

hey guys, i got my jeep, back when it first came out, for 1g under invoice, from warnock in livingston nj. they even gave me a decent price on my trade. i traded in a hemi charger 06 for the srt8 jeep lol and i know they always have them in stock. dam, i really did get a good deal on my truck, it was ordered for someone else but they cancl. it, i was there, and took it. and like i said this was when you couldnt find them. warnock always like i said gets them in. and if you finace with them, they will give you a good deal, as long as you dont pay off the car for at least 3 months, i talk to the mgr, and thats where they make money from their bank, on the fianace. after 3 months they dont care if you pay off the car cause the get money on the back end. dosent effect you at all. so i just put down money and after 3 months just payed the rest of the truck off. Hope this helps. never pay over sticker, you can find these truck in alot of dealers, dont get over excited just to get it. and dont let them beat you on your trade.

When you say under invoice, do you mean wholesale price (sticker), or dealer Cost? You should have no problem at all getting one for 2K off sticker. If mine ever comes back from the body shop, you can get it for 10K under the sticker price. I will also provide a 3 day or 30 mile warranty.

Godfather, I will see how it looks, rides, handles, and sounds (squeeks and rattles) when I get it back...most likely sometime mid-Feb.....you know about the national parts shortage....

I have given up the thought of a Superbee for now. Not really even thinking about what it would be replaced with, but whatever it would be, it will have all-wheel drive, so that limits me to a ML63, and the Porsche Turbo, and BMW 4.8. Not considering the TBSS, but might consider the 2008 Z06 that will be beefed up.

It is all in the timing. I was driving the wife's SLK 320 when I stopped by my local Jeep/Chrysler dealer to show a friend what a GC SRT8 was/looked like. I didn't even think they would have one in stock. As we drove up, I saw the double-barreled shotgun exhaust from a block away. We parked and walked over to the silver beast. There was a big SOLD sign on the windshield. Since I was only there to "look", it didn't make any diff. A saleswoman was nice enough to let us look at the engine, open the doors, etc. About that time the dealership's owner came out and said the guy from CA was not going to make it in to test drive the SRT, so the "hold" [SOLD] should be taken off the windshield. Just for fun I asked what they would give me in trade for my car. I was driving an '01 E55 AMG at the time, but it was at home. I went home to get the Benz... bottom line: I got a GREAT trade in, I got EP, I was an owner 2.5 hours after I first drove in to the lot. I had NO intention @ that time of buying ANY vehicle that day.

i got mine for 1g under sticker, back when they first came out. my purch date was 02/06, lol and it was orderd for someone else, but they couldnt take it. my gain, the best part, it was silver, and that was the color i really wanted. They had a black one that just sold the day before, but the guy that bought it and took it home for the day, changed his mind and wanted the srt8 300, why i have no idea, so they were going to give me that one. But i didnt want a truck that someone took already, plus i really wanted a silver one. LOng story short, (to late lol) the silver came in the next day, and i jumped on it. and now I have two, one for me and one for my wife.

I paid $2K under sticker for my 2007. Some have done well with EP pricing on the '06's. In Canada, there were only 164 for the country in 2006, so it is a sellers market. I was happy to get any discount.
